Microgravity Simulator

The laboratory facility proposed by SimulTek to be designed, developed and created to achieve simulated microgravity conditions over long periods of time is based on the hypothesis that “sensing no weight would have similar effects as being weightless”. This facility can be developed in a few stages described below and can be related to the gravity vector-averaging systems. • Manufacturing of the experimental prototype with two (three) independently driven rings, installation of microgravity triaxial sensors, design of electronic interface and computer control program. • Laboratory testing and adjustment of the experimental prototype of microgravity simulator and software, integration of all electronic systems. • Development and adjustment of the operation model of the experimental prototype of microgravity simulator, analysis of the control modes of the microgravity simulator. The Microgravity simulator system includes: • Random positioning machine • Experiment platform • Microgravity sensors • Data acquisition system, and • Dedicated computer control program Simultek makes MS both for work under atmospheric conditions, and in vacuum conditions.
